About time for an update...

• Our housing plans are finalized -- thanks again Greg Barton at the Masters Housing Bureau.
• Scott dropped out, and Ramsay has taken his place.
• We're going to rent a car in Augusta.
• We're going to play golf on the way down and it's my job to figure out where -- maybe Pinehurst or Pine Needles.
• The Masters is only 2 months away!

Thanks again to Greg Gabel at the Masters Housing Bureau for looking out for me! The exact nature of the favor he did for me today will remain between just the two us but I will tell you that Greg took time to phone me to alert me to a potential problem and probably saved me a lot of trouble down the line. Lineup Change

Unfortunately Scott had to bail out --rumour has it that he's got a high-stakes member-guest to play in-- but we've found a new fourth. Ramsay Whitworth -- a thirty-something lawyer type from Baltimore.

I've sent in the deposit on the house and I've mapped the actual location. It's about 2.5 miles. as the crow flies, from ANGC. The right-hand thumbtack is the rental house. The left is the golf course. Almost close enough to walk!
